KTA 5: Researching sources about locations and studio set up for NMNTV

Focus groups-  People who watch music-television (different ages, sexuality, gender)	Video on youtube showing how to set up a studio and where to put cameras.
Interviews-  People who are on music television, presenters, screenwriters, camera crew	Article on the internet talking about what are the best filming locations for Music News Channels.
Content and textual analysis- Watching music television, looking at articles	Books by professionals telling you on how to set up your own Music News Channel.
Advantages - The information is all relevant  All information is up to date	Advantages  - It is cheap. - Easily accessible due to it being in the public eye.
Disadvantages- It is very costly to gather the information It takes a lot of time	Disadvantages- Not all information is relevant There is a chance that the information is biased  Information may be out of date

music festivals are a great place to interview people as you are speaking directly to the target audience and getting information from them which is all relevant and useful, however it is costly as you have to get into the festivals and you aren't guaranteed that everyone will want to be interviewed.

a studio is a great place due to it being relatable to the audience as it is possible to have a live studio audience which allows you to see how an audience would react to the show and get live feedback and opinions on the show however you may have to offer the audience something for their time which could potentially be costly.

music awards are good as it presents the artists and the albums, this means they can promote their brands and products and since it is based on the idea of what is most popular you can see what is trending at the moment which is a great way to gather information

music conferences are good as there are a lot of artists there so you can get many interviews and samples of information from them.

london lights is another good location as itis a mass-scale event meaning there is a lot of people who are engaged with music and also it will feature live music from artists.
